Lightweight Cranes and Tracking Systems

Lightweight Cranes are used to transport loads from one point to another, using an electric / manual hoist to manoeuvre heavy objects. This particular crane requires the operator to manually move the crane using the X and Y axis.

The purpose of a crane tracking system is to take the effort out of lifting heavy weights, enabling you to easily lift weights of 125kg, 250kg, 500kg, 1000kg or 2000kg. For heavier weights or large span systems, you can even install a special power drive which increases the lifting capability even further and allows effortless movement of the bridge.

What Industries Do They Suit?

There are many industries which could benefit from a crane such as this one, but they are most commonly used within production and assembly stages in manufacturing and such industrial environments. Our workstation crane is therefore ideal for creating ergonomic workstations by offering ease of use and ensuring that workers are happy and safe from injury in the workplace.

Benefits of Lightweight Cranes and Tracking Systems

There are many benefits of opting for a X-Y tracking system in the workplace, including:

  • The customisability of the cranes – this means that you can alter the height, bridge span and gantry length to suit any application.
  • Feature a modular design and a profile track design – this means that they can transport goods quickly and safely with a low running noise.
  • They have an enclosed track design – this prevents dirt and debris from building up and having a negative impact on the performance of the crane.
  • Reduced risk of injury – there is always a worry in busy workplaces about meeting health and safety requirements. A lightweight crane offers peace of mind as it reduces risk of injury, including repetitive stain injury, from heavy lifting.
